When an access bridge starts failing, everything stops. Heavy trucks can't cross safely, work grinds to a halt, and the longer you wait, the worse it gets. That's exactly the kind of problem we got called in to solve here.

This is a covered wooden bridge crossing - a real one, with a roof structure, timber railings, and a full plank deck. These types of crossings take a beating over time. Constant vehicle traffic, moisture, freeze-thaw cycles - it all adds up. The decking had deteriorated to the point where it wasn't safe for heavy equipment or loaded trucks to cross without risk.

We came in, pulled the damaged sections, and replaced them with fresh lumber integrated cleanly into the existing deck layout. You can see where the new boards sit flush against the old ones - the goal is always a solid, even surface that handles load without flexing or shifting. The timber guardrail posts were checked and tightened up as well. No shortcuts.

Once the repair was done, the crossing was ready for traffic again. That matters a lot when you've got equipment that needs to move. A bad bridge doesn't just cause delays - it's a liability. Getting it fixed right the first time is always the smarter call.

This kind of structural repair work is in our wheelhouse. We're used to dealing with older outbuildings, rural infrastructure, and property access points that need attention. If you've got a crossing, bridge deck, or any kind of site access issue that's been sitting on your list, we're the crew to call.
